I’ve spent eleven years helping companies grow, and the last few building AI into everything I touch. Here is the exact system I use, step by step, so you can copy the parts that fit.
Start with the customer, not the tool
Every AI project I’ve seen stall started with a tool looking for a problem. The ones that worked started with a customer question: what makes someone stop, click and stay?
Before you touch a model, write down the three moments in your funnel where people drop off. That list is your roadmap.
Research in hours, not weeks
I use AI to read everything a customer has already told us: reviews, support tickets, sales calls. It clusters the language, and I read the clusters.
The output isn’t a report. It’s the exact words people use, which become headlines, ads and onboarding copy.
A content system that runs every week
One brief, one owner, one approval step. AI drafts, a person edits, nothing ships without a human saying yes.
That last rule is the whole trick. It’s the same one we built into Gridwork: nothing goes out until you approve it.
“AI should do the work. People should make the calls.”
Ads that learn faster
Test more creative, not more budget. I generate twenty angles from the research, cut to five, and let the numbers pick two.
Budget moves only when a person signs off on it.
Follow-up that never forgets
Most growth is lost after the first click. AI makes sure every enquiry gets a reply in minutes, in your voice, with a clear next step.
What I’d do this week
Pick one drop-off point. Put AI on the research, keep a person on the decision, and measure one number for thirty days. Then do it again.
